This Past Week

We have had a lot of fun spending time with family. We celebrated Joseph's birthday at Tucano's. We went to the discovery museum in Salt Lake and spent the afternoon with Eric, Sara and their boys. It was a lot of fun. There were tons of cool activities for Aaron to do. There was a mini construction site, grocery store, cars, tree house, balls, ful size plasitc horse and lots of space to run around. We forgot the camera. It's from pregnancy brain. Hyrum, Noah, Daniel and Ammon looked like they had each grown a foot! We then went to Eric and Bev's and had a BBQ. i remembered the camera this time, but the battery was dead...me and cameras. Some day! At Eric and Bev's Aaron saw his cousin, Ian who has grown a lot too he looked so happy! Rex and Becky make great parents. We also saw Larry, Coy and Christy. They seemed to be doing well. It's still crazy to think that Christy is old enough to be at BYU. It makes me feel old plus, Tracy and Teri (Sorry if I have spelt anyone's name wrong)can drive!

We have been really busy, but have had a good time getting ready to move. This is the big week and we are trying to get everything ready for Wednesday. I went to the doctor and he said that there shouldn't be any problem with me leaving this next week. I have my first appointment with Doctor Nour on the 10th. We think we may have found a place to live. We are getting some pictures tonight and we will see how it turns out.

Little Bit of an Update

We have been pretty busy packing and getting ready. . When we get to Terre Haute, we are going to have a lot to do. It still doesn't feel like we are actually going to move, but I am sure that we will all realize it soon enough. It's about a week and a half before the ABF truck arrives. We have had so many people offer there help it has been great.

Aaron is really into the temple right now. We have been there everyday to talk about it. He wakes up saying Temple he was even in the store today when an older couple approached me saying how much they loved his hair and Aaron said "Temple, Temple" They thought that was pretty cute. It's still kind of crazy to me that we can be in Wal-Mart buying sippy cups and everyone knows what Aaron means when he says Temple. He loves his toy that Sister Roberts got him for his birthday, and this past week Aaron said his own prayer, and he has made a new friend Carlos. They are both about the same age and they have a really good time together.

I finally went to the doctor and I feel a little bit better. He gave me a couple things to take and I slept through the whole night, that was really nice. He also said that I should stick to a liquid diet.... so I have been trying to be really careful with what I eat and do. I was in the store having contractions, and then realized that I haven't done much of anything to get ready. So I went and found a cute little newborn outfit and some socks. It's not a lot, but it was fun to look at the 0-3 month little boy outfits!

More Pictures of Stewart Falls

This is the very top of the Falls.

Joseph went for a hike up the falls.

Joseph was in charge of packing Aaron around and Aaron was pretty happy most of the time.

Aaron and I are enjoying the water from the Falls.

Yard Sale

Yesterday we had our yard sale and it was a lot of fun! We made a little bit of money, but we got rid of a lot of stuff that I do not want to pack. That really made it worth it! Joseph and I put an announcement up in our neighborhood and we had 4 different families come selling stuff too. Everyone seem to leave feeling satisfied. We couldn't believe the amount of people who stopped by. We didn't even put posters or a ad in the paper and we got rid of most everything! Hooray! I went to Wal-mart and got some water bottles, then made some cookies to sell and some orange rolls and there were quite a few people who bought them and Joseph liked having them to eat.

So it's down to less than a month before we move! Wow! That's no time at all. I don't think it has hit us yet, that we are really going to move. There is just so much happening all at the same time that it is hard to grasp how everything is going to change our family. We seem to all have a positive outlook on it and that's going to be a lot of help to us!

Aaron's best friend Preston is back. Joseph and I were amazed to see how much Preston has grown (good job Shannon). They played outside for awhile the other day and had a good time. Aaron is really into airplanes, trucks and trains right now. We spend most of our time outside playing in the water. He has also discovered the shower and he loves it. Baths don't really happen now, it's all about the shower like mommy and daddy.

Aaron and I also went to the parade and it was huge! They had a lot of really nice floats, trucks, cars and balloons. Aaron thought all of it was pretty cool. That night we had a neighborhood BBQ and later Our neighbors brought out some fireworks and he kept saying "More, More!" So we then took him to see the fire works at the stadium and he thought it was pretty amazing how the whole sky lit up.

Aaron's Birthday

The internet finally works again! Hooray! There was an outage somewhere. Anyways, We had a lot of fun on Aaron's birthday! We were really busy. We woke him up and sang to him, went downstairs and had some balloons ready for him to play with and had some spiderman cereal. When he started to unwrap his present he was so excited and said "BOX!" Like it was the coolest thing ever, and when he realized it was the man with the mask he was very excited. I don't know why he likes Spiderman he has only seen him in the store and stuff. Then we went to Stewart Falls and enjoyed playing in the water for a couple of hours. There were a lot of people and the Real Professional Soccer Team showed up. After that, we went swimming at Veterans Pool! We had so much fun. Aaron is now trying to learn how to walk on his hands in the shallow part of the pool. He loves going down the slides saying "FAST!" and at the end he say "That was FAST!" It's fun to see him so excited. We then came home and got ready to go out again and had some pizza, but he fell asleep on the way there and slept through most of the meal. He finally woke up at the end and they sang a cool happy birthday song to him. THEN, we had some friends and family come and share in some presents, cake and ice cream. It's so great that we live in an area and have family and friends who want to share in Aaron's special day!

AARON...COME BACK!

My little escapee.

So this was probably one of the most terrifying days of my life. Today after swim lessons we decided to stay after. In order to do this, we had to go back out of the pool and wait in line. While we were waiting in line Aaron was playing around in the grass and found an escape hole to the other side of the pool. I ran as fast as I could (six months pregnant mind you) and tried to stop him and I just wasn't fast enough! Imagine I am standing on one side of this fence looking right at my son telling him to come back and he just turns looks at me and then starts running away. I start screaming at someone to stop my son, because I really have no idea where he is going to end up at this huge swimming pool, and he has been there enough times to feel very comfortable going anywhere. Finally somebody runs over and I am hollering at them get my red headed son I can't reach him and they turn and start bolting away by this time he is about out of our sight. As she runs after him I start pushing my way through the gate telling everyone "My son has escaped just let me through." Luckily no one stopped me and by the time I made my way around to find him, he was making his way toward the slides, running away from my new friend that I made at the pool. I picked him up and he says something like "Hi." Talk about losing all sense of control. That was freaky. He had no idea what he had done wrong and I had no idea what to tell him other than we are going home and that we have had enough water for one day. Next time we are bringing the stroller with him strapped in tight. I must have looked like mad woman running around with my six month old pregnant belly. I don't think I will ever forget his little face looking at mine with the fence between us and him just taking one step away from me without me being able to do anything!

Temple Square

We did so much today! We went to Cabella's and returned some camping stuff and we went to the shooting range and Aaron shot at some stuff, he didn't really care too much for it, but Joseph and I enjoyed it. I had no idea what I was doing, but Joseph did really well.

We then decided to make a trip to Salt Lake and visit Temple Square for the last time. We went to the Lion House and had lunch it was pretty good. Aaron loved the mash potatoes and we all enjoyed the wonderful cozy atmosphere. We walked around and took lots of pictures with Aaron he liked the water mostly and seeing Jesus in the visitor's center. While we were in the tabernacle when they did a small presentation, where they ripped a piece of paper, drop a pin and then drop a nail and everyone in the room could hear how great the acoustics (I think that is the right word) were. They even played God Be With You Till We Meet Again and it was pretty cool. The remodeled tabernacle looks great! We walked around the Temple and Aaron was excited when he could be near the temple. He kept saying "Temple, Temple."

After that I decided that I wanted to experience Pottery Barn, I have heard so much about it that I thought I would give it try. It's pretty cool store! It has lots of colors and designs that I like. We also tried out IKEA awhile back, now THAT store was pretty coool. We bought Aaron the coolest table and he loves it and I had some Swiss Chocolate stuff that was really good!

Joseph leaves for Survival on Monday morning and is going to be gone all week! He is going to have tons of fun! I can't wait to hear all the cool stories he has to share when he gets home. Aaron and I are going to do lots of different stuff. He is going to be finishing his swimming lessons this week and we will probably do some packing. I still can't believe that we are actually moving to Indiana! We are going to be super busy when Joseph gets back, but we want to enjoy our last weeks here in Utah because we will probably never return to live here.

Benjamin (possible baby name) is moving a lot and the doctor said that everything is fine. I have really been popping out lately. It looks kinda funny, but that's what happens! The baby's gotta grow!
